Child Assessment

Following an initial assessment phase with the child and their carers, we may find that your child would benefit from a structured assessment.  The purpose of an assessment would be to get a better sense of your child’s strengths and weaknesses, related to learning, concentration, or emotional abilities.

Psychometric assessment can also be used to guide the treatment of a number of recognised difficulties, conditions and disorders, usually identified in childhood, including: Intellectual Disability (ID), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and specific learning disorders such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.

If you think that your child may be in need of such an assessment, or you have any additional questions, please contact me.
